Terms of Service
A plain-language terms template for a configurable SaaS product.
Template notice: customize this agreement for the actual product, company, jurisdiction, pricing, refund policy, and risk profile. This text is not legal advice.
Agreement
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the published privacy policy. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding credentials and API keys, controlling active sessions, and promptly reporting unauthorized access. You may not transfer access in a way that defeats plan limits or security controls.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to break law, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe or disrupt systems, bypass access controls, abuse third-party providers, send unsolicited communications, or process content you are not authorized to use.
Billing
Paid plans may be subscriptions or one-time purchases. Prices, taxes, renewal intervals, included limits, refund terms, and cancellation behavior must be presented at checkout. Billing is processed by the configured payment provider. Cancelling a subscription normally prevents future renewal and may leave access active until the current period ends.
Customer content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant the operator the limited rights needed to store, transmit, transform, back up, and display that content solely to provide the service. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions.
Availability and changes
The service may evolve, add or remove features, change providers, enforce reasonable limits, or experience downtime. Material changes to paid plans or these terms should be communicated in advance where required.
Disclaimers and liability
Define warranties, service levels, liability caps, exclusions, indemnities, and dispute procedures appropriate to the actual business and applicable law before launch.
Termination
The operator may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, security risk, non-payment, or legal requirements. Users may stop using the service and request account deletion, subject to required retention.
